In short, your Windows Start Menu, Edge, and Settings aren't opening properly. This issue occurred after you reset your laptop to factory settings and selected the clean drive option. You're looking for assistance here.

Save your users folder and restart. That should resolve the issue.

Thank you for the reply. I've already attempted it, my goal is simply to use my Myt laptop.

You should probably do a fresh installation.

It would be quicker than solving your issues. The approach involves clearing all settings while keeping the same or updated build. This might work better if the newer version doesn't match your factory defaults.

Let me know your goal clearly, since I can't access settings directly.

Do you have an updated version of Windows? If not, obtain it and write it onto a USB drive. In the BIOS, start the USB disk. On the installation interface, when asked about formatting, remove any existing partition and select format. Continue, and your computer will be restored to its original condition.

Consider alternative options if it doesn't function. The link you provided appears to be for Windows 10 Start Fresh.

It was on Windows 10? It should function, but once installed you’ll likely need to install most components (chipset, GPU, network, etc.) since Windows can’t automatically detect drivers. Visit your laptop’s site at https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software.../windows10 and use the tool to create installation media.
