Absolutely, ignore that person. The PSU is fine—your system can handle a 550W unit and still have plenty of capacity. For RAM, consider running memtest to check for issues or test different setups, such as using just one stick. (Hey, I might have missed the whole thread, so you probably already did this.)

I ran memtest and both drives passed. I also attempted to install Linux, assuming it might be Windows-specific, but the process halted at the installation stage from boot.

I chose to exchange the RAM, hoping it would resolve the ongoing issues. I need advice on picking a replacement since I’m not very experienced with this stuff. The options include several kits priced between 89€ and 120€, all compatible with QVL and available for purchase. Would the Patriot 3600 DDR4-3600 work with a Ryzen 5 5600?

Ensure 2x minus 3x is set up for peak performance on your rig to avoid crashes, restarts, or sudden shutdowns. This guidance is provided without charge.

Yes, such a setup would require a power supply that delivers at least 2400 watts, but this component isn’t available in the market.

If Kingston was in QVL, I'd choose that option. Patriot seems better suited for this configuration. CL/CAS setups won't impact response time, and a +400MHz boost would result in less than 2.5% slower performance. Opt for the speed the motherboard supports best.

Many will suggest opting for the 3600 kit. But you won’t feel much change in performance compared to a 3200 cl 16 or a 3600 cl 18 setup. I’d just pick the 89 Euro model and stop there. In theory, 3600 MHz suits Zen 3’s memory controller better, but unless it offers tighter timings, the difference won’t be noticeable.

I felt a bit rushed and placed an order for new RAM before checking any replies. I still received the same issues, so maybe it wasn’t RAM at all. It could be something else like the motherboard or the processor.

In case others face similar problems, the issue turned out to be the processor. I got a new one this morning and everything seems to be working so far. Thanks for your support!
