Windows starts taking longer on an SSD.

I bought a new SSD, but my PC started running extremely quickly at first and then slowed down later. It doesn’t load anything when I try to open it. This issue seems related to my system rather than Windows.

Check if the SSD is completely filled. Has Trim been applied to it? Was the system configured to work with the SSD?

The SSD is nearly full. I haven’t applied any trim settings or optimized it. I plan to clean it up today and check if it improves performance.

SSDs perform worse when full. It’s best to use SSDFresh for optimization and to disable hibernation.

If it's a budget SSD, you might see some wear with time. However, it's likely less severe than when the drive is nearly full.
