I own a Lenovo laptop. When creating a sleep-study report, an unregistered device appears at the top (image provided) while in sleep mode. It shows as Unregistered Device _SB.PCI0.SAT0.VOL0_. Its active status reaches 100% during sleep, leading to significant battery drain.

1. What is this device?
2. Why is it active constantly during sleep?
3. How can I fix the issue?

I've attached the sleep-study report for details. I've also reinstalled Windows multiple times, but the problem recurs periodically. The report file is named sleepstudy-report.html.

Probably a type of malware that uses your computer to mine cryptocurrency, though I might be mistaken. It could have been similar to what I encountered a few months back.

I don't believe it's malware since I've got McAfee coverage. Plus, I've attempted a fresh Windows setup, but the problem keeps happening.

MCAFEE isn't the top choice, but there are methods to circumvent most antivirus software. It doesn't matter whether you're using a brand new Windows setup—your drive's data remains unchanged.

Ensure you save every important file, erase the entire drive, reinstall Windows, and search elsewhere for solutions.
