Hey everyone, just a quick note. I have my main gaming PC and Windows Home Server on the same network. My gaming PC can’t reach the server, but another machine works fine and my laptop does. I tried reinstalling Windows on both, but it’s still not solving the issue. The specs are pretty similar—Gigabyte Z270 Gaming, i7-7700K, 32GB RAM, dual RX480s, lots of SSDs, liquid cooling. What should I do?

Have you considered turning off the firewall on both Windows systems?

You realize the issue lies beyond the apps, it's a network concern. Check your network configurations and verify connectivity through ping tests. Possible causes could include firewall or VPN software, though they aren't part of the standard Windows setup. Also, the Wi-Fi settings for inter-host communication might be problematic.

What are the IP addresses of both devices? Are the IPv6 settings active? Are the machines connected to the same private network? Can your router reach either of them?

Yes, one of them might not be included in the pro version.
