Windows setup preserved EFI files and additional components for your Linux installation.
Windows encountered issues after a recent restart. I performed a clean installation, preserving key files on Pop OS. Upon reinstalling Windows, I observed BIOS indicating the HDD name. After some checks, I found partitions saved on the old HDD except Healthy partition. I want those moved to the SSD instead. Is there a method to transfer them or should I try another reinstall?
Choose the exact drive you wish Windows to use for installation. This ensures proper setup. If a different drive is selected, Windows may create an EFI boot partition there instead of using your primary drive. Keeping only one connected drive during installation prevents Windows from affecting multiple locations at once.
