I tried a new setup and wanted to know if it’s possible to save all updates on a CD instead of relying on Windows updates.

You could also obtain the full Win7 SP1 .iso file, eliminating the need to manually transfer data. http://188.138.9.242/Windows 7/Eng/ Microsoft tech support is believed to confirm the IP address truly belongs to them, though I didn’t verify it myself. Nonetheless, I have confirmed the checksums of several of these .iso files with those shared on Technet in the past, and they matched. These appear to be genuine.
