I've attempted Repairing, Resetting the app, and using unusual commands in cmd, but I prefer not to perform a full reset. The settings menu functions within the app, while Settings operates generally, though it doesn't work in the app at all.

Windows safety is often exaggerated—it doesn’t stop anything, won’t catch viruses. Try Avira instead. Even though the premium plan costs more, it’s worth it for real-time protection. Just remember to upgrade to a monthly subscription when you get the paid version so it stays affordable.

Has there been any activity before this? Recent major Windows update? Modified a setting? Installed new software? Ran Windows Update and restarted? Are there pending updates waiting?

I've restarted several times, but the queue remains empty. I also realized that opening Windows Security through Settings causes it to crash.

This may or may not be true, but it's not helpful in the current situation. Parts of Windows settings just straight-up being missing is a problem that needs to be solved even if he decides Avira is better later on.

I completely support this idea. I’ve also believed for a long time that the top antivirus comes from basic common sense. I’m just attempting to resolve the issue because I realized it wasn’t functioning properly.

Are there any antivirus programs or internet protection tools that could conflict with Windows Security Center? Have you done any adjustments or cleanup tasks that might have affected it? Use #2 and #3 to restart the Windows Security application.

Do you know if "Intel Security Assist" functions as a security application? Beyond that, it seems you haven’t used any security tools. There are several preinstalled ASUS applications, but they don’t appear to focus on security. Regarding resetting Windows Security, the third attempt failed because the file "C:\AppxManifest.xml" wasn’t located.
