Windows runs very sluggish immediately after a new installation.
For roughly six months now my computer has been extremely sluggish. It began in January and initially only had minor issues, just occasional crashes. I opted for a fresh Windows install just to be safe. At first it didn’t notice much difference, but after a month or so it slowed down significantly. Eventually it became so slow that every month over the past four months I had to reinstall. My system specs are: I7-11700F, MSI RTX 3060 with 12GB RAM, 32GB Corsair memory, and a new SSD recently installed. I read that if Windows performance dropped after each reinstall, it could indicate an SSD failure, so I switched to a Samsung 990 Pro. Recently I reinstalled Windows from scratch, leaving no drives from the old setup. For the first five minutes it functioned fine, but after installing basic apps like Google and Discord it stopped working. Task manager and CMD would take 2-3 minutes just to log in, and even simple tasks crashed. Also immediately after the reinstall I experienced a blue screen. If you have any advice or suggestions, I’d really appreciate it.
