It's tough to pinpoint exactly what occurred. If this isn't the longest sentence I've ever seen, it's quite similar. Consider splitting it up for clarity. That should make diagnosis, analysis, and fixing much smoother. Do you still have the bootable USB? If yes, restart using it and stick with the defaults. Or, when prompted about which drive to use, remove the partition for the boot drive and rebuild it via the tools on the USB. Once that's done, you should be able to reinstall Win10 after recreating the partition and then proceed with the defaults using your new partition on the boot drive.

I followed your instructions and the system responded with an error about Windows installation. The chosen disk appears dependent on the GPT partition format.

I believe the information is damaged beyond repair, making recovery impossible. I don’t have prior knowledge in this area, so please be cautious about relying on my advice.

I chose the incorrect storage device, and it’s being installed on the alternative one instead. It’s strange since one feels rejected while the other seems to accept it.

UEFI requires a GPT layout to start, which conflicts with Windows setup that expects an MBR layout. This mismatch causes the system to display errors like "No OS found or bootable device" after installation, leaving users confused.
