We aim to install Windows directly without dual booting. We’re okay with it. Just restart the whole PC.

You'd need to execute Windows as a virtual machine on top of macOS.

You need more than just a USB stick to set up Windows. You also require installation media or setup tools.

You can build a USB with Windows installed (ensure it's in GPT UEFI mode), then follow the usual steps to set up Windows as you would on any standard PC. VERY IMPORTANT >> Before starting, open the Boot Camp assistant in macOS, click Actions at the top, select Download Windows Support Software, and save it to another USB drive. This software is essential because it provides all the necessary drivers for Windows to function correctly. Install the support software right after you install Windows so everything operates smoothly. <<VERY IMPORTANT>>

Use Bootcamp to generate a USB containing all the drivers. Have Bootcamp create a Windows 10 boot USB (it might need Windows 8 first, based on the macOS version). When the system restarts into the install mode, power off, hold Option while booting, and format the drive to remove the macOS partitions.

It doesn't work this way. You should reset macOS before installing, reduce the partition size to the smallest possible, then set up a second drive for Windows. MacOS is tough to reinstall if nothing is running on the device and you can't access a Mac. Yes, but usually you only need the Network and Display drivers from that source.
