Your setup generally works well until it encounters a boot issue. After that, it seems to reset itself by restarting. The occasional W10 logo without a proper load suggests a temporary glitch or corrupted boot file. Trying the power button reset often resolves the problem.

The most likely causes are a failing hard drive or an incorrect Windows setup.

This seems like it could be happening. I got W10 on a 3-year-old Kingston SSD, possibly indicating it’s wearing out. After a recent Windows reinstall using the system tool, I’m planning to wipe the SSD and do a fresh install to check. If that doesn’t help, I might need to upgrade to a new SSD soon.

You didn’t format the drive with the cmd prompt initially. After reinstalling, I had to format it first, and then everything worked smoothly.

I didn't do it. I used the Windows 10 utility for a reinstall, though I don’t recall where I located it. I plan to perform a complete clean reinstall once my new CPU arrives and see if that resolves the issue. It’s a very minor problem that only slightly impacts my PC usage, but I’m starting to wonder why it keeps happening.

I usually just shut off my monitor and let my PC sit idle. It doesn’t damage the system, and it lets me reach what I need quickly when I need to move fast.

Absolutely! I also keep my PC running all day, only powering it off at night. That makes it not a big issue at all.

I keep my computer running continuously for a week, then pause it and switch to another one. This happens because I replace the machines each week, so I turn them off and keep the active one running.
