I recently acquired a "Dell Thunderbolt Dock – WD19TBS" and connected it to my MacBook Air 2020. Two monitors are attached, and they function perfectly on the Dell laptops in the office. However, when the MacBook is connected, the desktop flashes briefly before the screen goes dark. I've tried restarting several times, installing DisplayLink, adjusting resolution, changing cables, and even resetting the dock settings. The monitors still work fine. I'm unsure what caused the issue and would appreciate any advice you can offer, as this is quite urgent.

It seems the Dell Thunderbolt dock might be designed specifically for Dell products.

Do you own an Intel MacBook Air or the M1 Air? DisplayLink tools work best with a dedicated docking station or graphics card, and your standard Thunderbolt dock likely won’t require additional drivers.

Only a single external monitor will function unless you purchase a DisplayLink dock or adapter. It's recommended to use the Dell Thunderbolt dock. Try removing one of the displays and observe if it resolves the issue.

I understand, that’s likely how I managed the monitor initially. I’ll give it another try and let you know what happens.
