You can run several operating systems on one machine. However, the previous time I added Windows after installing Linux it erased the bootloader. I haven’t done that recently, so I’m not certain.

You might run a VM, obtain the may-update ISO, or simply wait. I’ve learned that the release preview ring is receiving the may-update this week. Edit: I got the may-update on the mentioned ring this afternoon on both of my computers.
