The Windows boot loader is kept on the hard drive, meaning you must connect it to boot from the SSD. An alternative approach is to reinstall Windows on the SSD without the HDD, though ideally you should clear the HDD afterward to avoid conflicts.
I’m okay working around this SSD as long as I can maintain everything on the HDD. My priority is keeping the HDD functional, and I don’t mind what happens to the SSD right now.
Disconnect the SSD and it will start up using the HDD bootloader. The activation code is located on the motherboard and remains active.

During the setup process, the interface simply restarts the display. Mostly related to data management, and the ease of avoiding full reinstallation of my applications.
If you can't get into recovery, it's likely better to install an SSD, open the drive through Windows Explorer, copy the files you need, and begin a clean installation. This seems to be the most effective approach right now, especially since Windows is already on the SSD.
