Check if third-party activation codes from vendors like BobKeys or CDKOffers are trustworthy. These sources can offer keys without costing more than $100, but always verify their legitimacy before use.

Officially no, but Microsoft doesn’t encourage buying OEM keys from resellers. It’s practical, though—they function just like regular keys.

They function as genuine keys. However, the real concern lies in how they operate and the nature of their licensing. If you’re paying only a small portion of the retail cost, something seems off. You won’t understand the exact amount until issues arise. The majority come from bulk packs. Some originate from outdated prebuilds or old laptops—more neutral sources. Enterprise keys might work for a year before needing re-activation, or the seller provides KMS activation guidance (which can be considered piracy). There are also keys linked to money laundering, using stolen credit cards and other illicit methods.
