I've been using a Dell XPS 7590 with Windows 10, having done several reinstalls before. Whenever it happens—randomly or on demand—it restarts into a boot loop featuring the Dell logo. This has forced me to create multiple recovery points so I can restart back to a stable state. Recently, I lost over 30 hours of game save data that wasn’t saved online. I haven’t used a restore point yet, and it’s still stuck in the loop. I’m frustrated because Windows keeps doing this. I found a video that might help, but I couldn’t test it without another machine to copy the media tool. I’ll try again when this occurs, but for now I went back to a recovery point and ran sfc /scannow after booting up to clean up the corrupted files from the update. It’s really annoying. Please share any advice or solutions that worked for you.

Uncertain about functionality, but with Dell it seems likely. If you press the function button while holding power on the laptop, it might release the FN and open the login screen. Check your updates—probably there’s a fix!

I attempted it once but it failed. It triggered an automatic repair mode, and I tried to remove an update. Now I see this message.

You ran the SFC command in safe mode, which repaired some damaged files. After restarting the PC via CMD, it reported that the update was rolled back. The system is still displaying the Dell logo with the throbber sound. You might want to let it run for a few hours.
