Windows issues? Need help fixing it.
Your PC arrived via mail, and you tried to reset everything but didn’t save files. After some attempts, it told you it couldn’t fully remove everything and asked to try again. It seems you’re installing Windows 10 now—do you need help checking if it’s already reset or if you should start over?
You can organize the drive by formatting it and then securely erasing the partitions to remove any potential threats.
The latest version of W10 is ready. You can format the drive and remove partitions as needed. Proceed carefully—ensure you have Windows 10 installation media available if required. This interface resembles a standard setup screen.
I finished the installation and set up a new user/password without being prompted about the installation location. Can I format the drive using Disk Management instead?
Avoid forming any drive unless you have a method to reinstall from the beginning (USB bootable or Windows installation CD). If you don’t, there will be no operating system installed. Try locating a folder named 'windows.old'; you can't delete it directly but you can organize it with the disk cleanup tool.
Search for cleanup in Windows search, it should display 'Disk Cleanup'. Press Enter or click it. The pop-up will show options to clean up system files; ensure only 'previous windows installations' is selected, then click OK.
