I restarted my laptop after it slowed down due to duplicate files, aiming for a fresh start. This morning I installed Chrome and removed some bundled apps like Netflix and Skype since Windows was filling up the SSD. I moved downloads to the D drive (HDD) so new files would save there. After turning it on, I can log in but everything freezes. I can’t click the start button or anything else. I attempted recovery mode and restoring an older version, but it reports no previous version exists. I tried resetting Windows in recovery mode, but when I pick cloud download it says no internet. Local downloads also fail, bringing me back to recovery. I also tried safe mode, but settings won’t load. HELP

Do you possess a flash drive and an additional laptop? It’s possible to generate a Windows MCT drive and start from there, then reinstall Windows.

I removed the pre-installed programs and unnecessary features manually. For Windows, if unsure, you can reinstall everything. This applies to all apps except those from the official Windows support forums, not just the Windows community.

I don't think so, but I can attempt to use a friend. I'll give it a shot! Thanks.

They installed an issue. I removed them via settings/apps.
