It's custom-built, so I'm proceeding with a Windows reset. However, formatting the D drive isn't possible at this time.

Another way to guarantee no data remains on the drive is to employ DBAN (if needed or desired)

I attempted to use EaseUs disk manager, but any action I took to wipe the D drive caused the E drive to become unformatted.

Generate a Windows installer file and then apply it to remove all partitions before mounting it on the primary storage device.
