I've been combining different components. The specs include a 9600x, 9060 xt 16GB RAM, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (expo disabled), a 2TB U.S. Gen4 SSD, a Gigabyte B850 Wi-Fi 6e ATX motherboard, and an RMA750E PSU.

Yes, you might only require constant power supply.

You keep the drive plugged in until it finishes booting, then power it off. After that, transfer it to the new PC and store it there until you successfully log into its desktop environment.

If the OS is on the flash drive, remove it carefully by unscrewing or gently pulling it out.

It's setting up the disc and placing it on your PC's storage. The 2Tb SP UD90 Gen 4 drive was edited on October 10, 2025 by thrasher_565.

I adjusted the instructions; possibly access is denied without a Microsoft account. Updated October 10, 2025 by thrasher_565

You haven’t tried another USB drive, have you? This seems like the USB device might be malfunctioning. Also, verify that any XMP/Expo settings for RAM are turned off, as they could cause problems. Are you installing Windows 11 via the official USB installation media created by Microsoft?

If your system has a black USB port (USB2), I recommend using it. Windows often struggles with USB3 connections on blue or red ports because the necessary drivers might be missing.
