The laptop was trying to install Windows on its 500GB hard drive and became unresponsive for about 12 hours. I kept pressing the power button, but the installation failed and corrupted. When I power it back on, a blue screen appears with the message "Win32 failed to load." It worked fine without any additional software or changes.

It's a great moment to upgrade Windows 10 to version 7 after a fresh install.

Yes, just remove the HDD and install a standard drive.

Obtain a bootable USB or disc drive. Start it within your BIOS settings. Select advanced installation options and format the primary hard drive. Proceed with the setup. This appears to be the simplest method.

Your key has already been converted, so you're likely stuck with Windows 10. Installing a new Windows 10 installation disc or USB should work since the key is saved directly on the device rather than in the registry, unlike in Windows 7.

Does it cause a blue screen or freeze when pressing Enter? If so, start in safe mode. You might also use bootable media to run "Repair My Windows Installation."
