I’ve set up my 512GB SSD with Windows C:2022 and D:250GB drives. After installing Valorant on D, I moved Genshin Impact files to the C drive but lost track of them. When trying to launch Valorant, it couldn’t locate the files. I deleted other games and restored Valorant, yet the issue continued. I’ve been busy with school and forgot about it, focusing only on Genshin. Recently, when I planned to delete Valorant, I found it already removed. After rebooting, I noticed my C drive was nearly full—only 50GB used out of 180GB total. The remaining space is hard to access, and even the temporary files are tiny. I’m struggling to free up space without backups or external help, as I don’t have spare drives or funds for repairs. Please help quickly.

Be cautious and verify everything before manually removing files from the C drive. Screenshots may show folders such as MSI, Intel, Google that were left behind by driver installers and can be safely deleted. However, I recommend avoiding any changes if you're not sure. It seems you just transferred a gamer folder from D to C manually. Search the top right area for the folder name—like "Valo"—to confirm its presence. If you reinstalled it, that folder should appear again. The System drive often consumes over 150GB after use, mainly because user folders accumulate large amounts of data. This happens when programs like Tencent QQ or WeChat store logs and media locally in the C drive by default. Usually, there will be significant space left in User > Your UserName > AppData > one of the three folders. You should consider using a second drive, an external storage device, or cloud services like OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or Baidu Yun for backup. Never rely on just one drive for your laptop storage.

Using a 512GB SSD is too limited for full exploration and partitioning. Keep it as a single partition and ensure you have proper backups of your data. Alternatively, consider using a dedicated SSD for storage while maintaining backups.
