C:/ with 41.6 GB free of 76.4 GB and D:/ with 27.1 GB free of 27.2 GB. My initial idea was to run Disk Management to check for any uninitialized drives. (see attachment 2) Disk Management shows a 476 GB partition that doesn't appear in Windows, but the storage settings indicate 435 GB are being used? (attachment 3) I'm seeking assistance since this setup is unfamiliar and I don't understand how my friend ended up here. Thanks.

Begin by reinstalling everything correctly. Explain each step clearly so he grasps the method. Verify all documents are saved beforehand.

Avoid rushing to reinstall everything whenever you notice something unusual. Use MiniTool Partition Wizard to reduce your C partition size slightly—like cutting it down by about 5 MB—and then implement the updates.
