You can modify your DNS settings to a private or secure address, or adjust them on your router so every device in your network uses that DNS.

It's not only about a DNS address. I have custom configurations like blocking adult content and ads, which means it needs their software linked to my account. It feels more like a VPN overall, though I’d appreciate if it could function without extra tools.
