The issue began after running jv16powertools to uninstall Firefox, followed by reinstalling Firefox and the NordPass extension which prevented turning off biometrics. I uninstalled the figerprint reader via Device Manager and reinstalled the driver, but now clicking Get Started in Windows Hello closes the window. I also can't remove or change my PIN for signing in, though I can change the password. I've restarted the Window Credential Manager service and executed sfc/scannow. Is there any other way to resolve this besides reinstalling Windows?

Have you attempted disabling and then re-enabling the pin after a restart? If you have a password, you can use it until we resolve the issue. Is the fingerprint reader displaying as enabled in the Account/sign in section or Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello)? Why were you prompted to turn off biometrics?
