Details: 5600x RX 580 MSI X570 has working Windows boot but no video display in BIOS. Experiments include latest BIOS, supported builds, CMOS reset via jumper, and battery changes. Successfully accessed BIOS on 3600. Tested HDMI and DisplayPort on various monitors. Recently upgraded from AMD 3600 to this model. First boot shows error light followed by restart. After resetting, no video output detected—keyboard/mouse active but no error indicators. Attempted BIOS access via Windows shortcut also failed. Still unsure what’s causing the issue.
Update your profile information and submit again. If you have multiple displays, consider connecting just one when the PC is powered down.
I attempted the newest option first, then the second one. Should I retry the latest again? (Excluding the beta release.)
Used the monitors in various configurations (they function even when BIOS is enabled with the 3600).
Consider disabling CMOS by taking out the battery, ensuring the power supply is off. Use a USB flashback to update the BIOS to version 7C37vHC.
Updated to HC using bios flashback, but issue persists. Removed boot m.2 drive (HDD still connected via SATA), yet no success.
Your motherboard likely displays video through its built-in capabilities.
Running on AMD 5600X without an AGPU, but having HDMI output—should it work? I’ll give it a shot.
