Hello. I'm just starting out with this forum and PC troubleshooting. I recently assembled a new PC and it functioned properly for a while, but now it freezes during Windows boot. It never reaches the password screen. The setup includes an Asus Pro Q670M-C motherboard, an I7-12700 processor, a stock cooler, a Corsair 32GB 4800 MHz DDR5 GPU, and a Samsung 980 Pro M.2 with Windows 10 Pro. I've tried several fixes: changed the M.2 slot, cleared CMOS, updated BIOS, replaced RAM, swapped the graphics card, reinstalled the CPU, added a new battery, removed the GPU, and used different drivers. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? I haven't updated the Intel ME and don’t know how to do it without opening Windows. Thanks!

The website mentioned not to update ME firmware before BIOS. Ensure you install ME firmware 16.0.15.1735V1.1_Q to upgrade to 16.1.25.2020v2_Q (needed for the latest BIOS). You can boot into Windows in safe mode by restarting and holding the power button until you reach the black or blank screen. Follow the provided link for instructions.
