Hello, I reinstalled Windows 10 Pro following some upgrades. The pirated install initially functioned well across different systems, but now it doesn’t update properly to newer Windows versions. Even after several days, the "Check for updates" option still shows no newer releases, keeping the system stuck at version 1511. My concern is identifying the cause of this problem. Additionally, are there alternative methods to upgrade to newer Windows versions besides using the update checker?

you might choose to use an unofficial version because it’s free, and there are methods to strip the watermark without enabling it. alternatively, purchasing an original key is a straightforward option costing around twenty dollars.

I try various devices at times on this machine, but it clears the activation. Getting OEM keys wouldn't help and would be a waste for me.

Windows 10 version 1511 has reached its end of life. A new installation will be necessary at this stage. However, using a modified copy of Windows still works for you. That Cortana message reminds me a lot. Check the official announcement for details.
