I just purchased an R5 4500 and upgraded it to BIOS F52g (AB350m D3H). I can post my bios, but after that I only see the Windows logo loading followed by a black screen. I tried resetting the CMOS and disabling the fTPM. If I run the old CPU Windows load without issues, the new one appears but I can’t pass the BIOS update. Before the upgrade, my system had a Ryzen 3 1200 with 12GB RAM, 2400MHz RAM, an RX570 graphics card, a 500W Strix 500W power supply, a 240GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. Everything was working perfectly. The problem only shows up after installing the R5 4500.

Install Windows entirely from the ground up. Replacing the CPU requires numerous system adjustments, which explains why Windows may freeze during startup.

I can't start anything except the BIOS, I'm using the Windows media tool for a fresh install but it still shows a black screen

It sounds like the system upload works, but once the installation starts, it fails to boot from a USB drive.

Check if you're connecting a USB drive for the Windows Media Tool or accessing files from your system's storage drive.

That's correct, the system runs smoothly at 1200 but struggles above 4500 with the BIOS.

Ryzen struggles significantly with RAM speeds under 2666MHz. Have you adjusted it to higher frequencies like 2666, 2800, 2933, or 3200MHz?

The issue seems to stem from not ramping up, and OC might add more complications regarding the CPU.

Check the specifications for the DIMM ratings.
