Windows fails to start after a fresh installation on the NVMe drive.
Hi there, I've been struggling to get my M.2 card to boot Windows for a while now. I watched lots of YouTube videos but nothing helped. I consulted Dr. Google and tried almost everything, yet it still doesn’t work. My system specs are: motherboard ASUS ROG B550 F GAMING WIFI, boot device ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 500GB, NVMe ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 2TB. I installed via a GPT and a bootable USB stick. Set everything to UEFI only, disabled Safe Boot, turned off DOCP, cleaned Diskpart and converted to MBR/GPT. Disconnected all drives except the second M.2, updated BIOS to the latest version. The drive worked until I did a clean install (previously used a 250GB SATA SSD). Now it shows up as a UEFI flash disk in BIOS. If I boot it, Windows installs, then I clean the disk with Diskpart because of a previous failure. After installation it restarts and in BIOS only the USB appears as bootable. I’m really stuck and just hoping someone can assist. Thanks, Hiabst.
