Your Vostro 200 isn't recognizing a boot device, but you've already installed Windows 10 on a spare HDD. Make sure it's properly seated and the drive is recognized. If it still doesn't boot, try formatting the SSD as a bootable USB and reinstalling Windows. After that, update your BIOS settings to ensure it detects the new drive. If the issue persists, contact your hardware supplier for further assistance.

Your drive has a partition with UEFI settings, which prevents it from starting with older BIOS versions.

Check your BIOS settings for legacy options. For a Vostro 200, look under the boot or system configuration menu to see if you can enable older hardware support. If not visible, contact your system administrator or manufacturer support.

Use a different storage device with a fresh setup, avoiding any operating system.

If you attempt a formatted drive without any operating system installed, you won’t know what to boot. You must first install an OS before proceeding.

I understand you've connected the USB drive to your Windows 7 system, but it isn't recognizing it.

Both USB and HDD are recognized, but Windows doesn't appear as a bootable device from either. The HDD was formatted and Windows remains on USB, yet no boot option shows up.

Adjust your SATA configuration to use AHCI or IDE settings via BIOS.
