You're facing an issue where Windows can't locate the necessary drivers for your SSD. The system detects the drive in BIOS, but you're missing the required media driver. You've tried USB ports, cleaned the drive, reinitialized it, and checked online resources, yet the problem persists. Since the drive is responsive, you might need to manually install or repair the driver through the Windows Device Manager or by using a third-party utility. If you're unsure, consider consulting a professional technician for further assistance.

Your SATA controller settings in BIOS—whether IDE, AHCI, or RAID—might be the cause. Checking your motherboard and CPU model will help identify the problem.

Have you attempted a Custom Installation? Does the disk display and enable you to modify or generate partitions?

It's present once more in DiskPart, though it was accidentally enabled for RAID. Everything seems back to normal now. Looking forward to your guidance.

If the device is present and RAID is turned off: Choose the drive, click New on the right, then OK or Apply. It will ask you to create more partitions—click OK or Apply. Pick the main partition, click OK or Install in the lower right to set it up. Hope it works!

It wasn't found after turning off the RAID setup in the list of drives for Windows installation. I cleaned the drive again and still couldn’t locate it. I’m considering installing Linux instead. I found some YouTube tutorials about manually installing drivers that claimed they were missing, but none helped. I’m leaving work now. Would another hard drive be a better option?

It's strange. I think I'm doing something incorrect since the system lets me create partitions but they don't show up in the list.

Reviewing the guide, all SATA connections link to the same controller. Have you tested both SATA and AHCI modes in BIOS? You noted it appears in DiskPart using Shift + F10 from Windows setup. Cleaning the disk seems like a possibility. Would you like another machine for the installation, then simply relocate the drive?

If this is a normal install there are no drivers for you to manually load. The installer will handle all of that. Something is definitely wrong here. Did you try refreshing the list?
