while playing my PC I accidentally knocked over my desk and lost the connection on my monitor, yet the game kept running. After restarting, when Windows loaded the screen again my monitor dropped off signal once more. I attempted a full reinstall but had no success. I also tried using windows-to-go; during system startup it froze, displayed a blue screen, and restarted. When I accessed the UEFI settings, the USB drive holding windows-to-go wasn’t visible. I’m unsure if that blue screen was caused by the USB being disconnected or my CPU failing. I didn’t capture the error code it showed. My father recommended upgrading to an older Windows version—so I installed Windows 7. It worked with the generic driver, but when I used the AMD driver it faced the same issue as before, even after the loading screen. I also tried uninstalling the driver via DDU, reinstalling it, and updating my chipset driver, but the problem persisted. Here are my PC details (if this helps): - AMD Athlon 200GE - Asrock RX 6600 Challenger - Asrock b450m Steel Legend - TEAM 16gb 2666 MHz - EVGA 500BR PS I also experimented with using the CPU’s APU in both Windows versions; it didn’t work in Windows 10, not even during UEFI startup. In Windows 7 the behavior matched that of Windows 10, except after the loading screen. I could confirm the password logged in after entering it in Windows 7.
