This setup includes a Seasonic 850W power supply, an Intel Core i5 12600k processor, an MSI z690-A with Wi-Fi and DDR4 RAM, Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz DDR4 memory (16GBx2), an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Occasionally the system lags for a few seconds—ranging from 30 seconds to over an hour depending on workload. Stuttering can happen during intense tasks, and keyboard or audio may freeze. Some users report issues with LatencyMon. If you need quick fixes, check your latency settings or update drivers.

Update your system with the newest BIOS and drivers. After that, verify everything is working correctly. It looks like you might be using some basic or outdated drivers.

The motherboard does support an updated BIOS, but initial booting of XMP encountered problems. I searched for compatible drivers without finding anything unusual, though I did find some recent updates from latmon. The pastebin link points to a file named Wdf01000.sys.

I've encountered comparable problems. You're using a similar setup with Intel Core i5-12500, Samsung SSD, and several components. There have been occasional stutters, crashes occurring roughly 3 to 4 times. The system would freeze briefly, then restart completely. Temperatures stayed below 80°C during monitoring. Occasionally the mouse would appear disconnected and reconnect mid-stutter. Everything else remained stable until a hard reboot was needed.

The issue repeats, causing flickering light and dropped inputs. Check latencymon to identify stuttering; share a screenshot if possible. It may relate to BIOS settings. Your connection type is unclear—you’re connected via motherboard Wi-Fi. Consider using a PCIE Wi-Fi adapter as a trial.

Im directly on cable to router, no wifi module, got some other devices on there, but nothing that should make a difference (1 smart tv - always on, PC with mediaserver and octoprint). tried running latencymon, saw some stuff. Couldnt catch the exact moment, but the highest latency is from e60mz0380.x64.sys which is the older elgato game capture hd60 pro, tried to install newer capture sw, but i dont think that helped. Ill try to take it out of pc later.

It didn’t fully resolve the issue. It just adjusted to something similar to what you had. I kept it running while applying heavy D2R loads, but lag wasn’t noticeable. I was offline for about 15 minutes, so that could have been the cause. I also changed the TPM from firmware to a discreet version to test. I’m now looking into regedit (link provided) and considering switching to a different sound driver like Realtek if it doesn’t help. If that fails, I’ll perform a clean install, as Windows 11 isn’t supported anymore. Also, do you have your drives in an Intel VMD or standard setup?
