It seems identical to your experience: no changes have occurred, yet it appears the system attempted an upgrade three times without success.

I’m facing the same problem too. There’s no upgrade alert coming, and the Windows 10 indicator is missing. It’s not a big deal—I’m okay with Windows 7. I have one year left before I need to buy Windows 10 anyway.

I caught it when I woke up this morning. There are folks who already have it and others who haven’t yet. I believe there’s no clear way to tell who got it versus who didn’t—it seems completely random.
