Wow, you've got the right idea. It seems to have something to do with tailscale, which hasn't caused any issues before. I turned off the Tailscale adapter and the internet worked again. However, it still blocks me from disabling it and displays a warning popup. That actually helped. It's pretty odd. Maybe it was attempting to use Tailscale as the main network (just a guess).
You can effectively use it without interacting with any terminal interface.
