I faced an issue where I needed to update ownership of several files and folders on one of my computers, especially those containing many anime episodes. Due to a strange user account with SID ownership, opening the folders took longer and showed "Working on it" messages. Once opened, they loaded quickly. I wondered if the system was supposed to pre-load all files at startup, as I expected instant access after turning on the PC. It seems some delay occurs each time a folder is opened for the first time after a restart.
