Following the newest release, Windows Defender began acting strangely. It was restricting many of your applications from reading files on the hard drive and also blocking access to all the games in your Steam library. No recent changes were made before this issue appeared. Assistance is needed!

You might turn off the safeguards, which would fix the issue in theory. But if you do so without additional protection tools like Norton or McAfee, your computer could still be at risk from an attacker. You may find security options in the software and adjust them to prevent problems—appears all settings are set to maximum, which can hinder other programs. It’s better to switch to a stronger antivirus such as McAfee, which should provide better defense without interfering with your other applications.
