Yesterday I assembled a PC and set up Windows. The issue was downloading files failed, I experienced a blue screen, and I couldn’t install the cumulative update 22h2. Recently, I reinstalled Windows using the same USB drive from yesterday, but it still showed a blue screen indicating missing or corrupted critical drivers/files. Anyone have any ideas about what might be going on?

No changes were made to system32. The blue screen details aren’t specified here. It seems you might have removed something important for the operating system. You could have also downloaded a damaged or low-quality copy of Windows. If you purchased it through an official source, the issue may not be critical. Edited April 2, 2023 by filpo

I saved the Windows version from the Microsoft Store without a product key. I didn’t remove the system 32 partition, though my computer stopped working during the initial setup.
