I own a Ryzen APU and recently purchased the GTX 1050 TI. I’m using DDU to eliminate all AMD components. After setting everything up, I tried checking for Windows updates but Windows started downloading AMD drivers for my APU with Vega 8 graphics. There seems to be an issue preventing me from skipping those old driver updates.

Turn off the GPU in the BIOS, which also restores the RAM that was taken hostage earlier. Unless you’ve already done this, then disable automatic driver updates in Windows.
