Hey everyone. Recently I discovered a bug in Windows where setting the default app crashes the settings page. As a student studying web debugging, I’m curious about how to fix this issue. Need advice on resolving it. Updated June 16, 2020 by LogicalDrm

It seems you're referring to adjusting the default web browser. You can access the settings at the bottom to reset everything and try a different one. Make sure the correct configuration is applied.

The term "cracking" isn't directly connected to anything specific here. It might just be a typo or a misunderstanding. Also, it's possible the issue stems from using a modified or pirated version of Windows.

I’d like to assist, but I’m having trouble grasping what you mean. If English isn’t your first language, feel free to write it in your native language and I’ll translate it for you.

IE should remain your primary browser unless you altered it previously. No, that’s Edge; I believe. If updating via settings leads to crashes, you might resolve it directly within the browser.

I've switched to Windows and updated the title. Think this might be a glitch, not related to piracy.

Sure, it means that when I choose the default browser, the interface will automatically revert to desktop mode, and using the sfc tool didn’t help.
