Problem description updated: I face issues when attempting to flash Manjaro KDE onto this particular computer. The process often freezes or triggers a crash with the CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error. Regardless of outcome, I must perform a hard reboot afterward, even after a BSOD. The system never completes the flashing procedure, especially when it crashes. I notice the flash works fine on another Windows machine using the same USB drive. Additionally, upon trying to boot from the flashed drive, the PC becomes stuck at "Starting Manjaro version: xxxxxx." I had previously selected Open Source drivers, but I’m unsure if that affected the Nvidia graphics card. Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit Specifications: CPU: 12400K (with stock cooler) GPU: EVGA FTW3 3070Ti RAM: G.Skill TridentRGB DDR4 (XMP not enabled) Power supply: Seasonic Prime Platinum 850 Mobo: MSI B660M Mortar WiFi D4 BIOS: 7D42v152 (latest update). I attempted a reinstall, but security settings caused my pin to fail and the secondary drive became RAW. At that time, Windows wasn’t registered, which might have contributed. Software at crash time: Firefox (Balena Etcher or Raspberry Pi Imager), Discord, various processes – no error messages appeared. Windows either freezes or triggers a BSOD with CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT.
