C-states and Cool-n-quiet are enabled in the BIOS, while spread spectrum is turned off. The chip clocks around 4.15 GHz idle at an average of 1.38v, using a balanced power profile. Setting it to high performance with minimal processor activity keeps it at about 4.25GHz idle, averaging 1.42v—still not downclocking. Any suggestions for adjustments or workarounds? You didn’t adjust the settings yourself. The voltages look elevated since you manually changed them. Your 2700 model doesn’t reduce its clock speed much even after manual adjustments.
It seems I didn’t encounter any problems with my 2700 unless I changed it manually. To confirm, there’s no gaming boost or similar settings active in the BIOS.
I never turned on MSI gaming/OC because it keeps the voltage steady at 1.45v and fixes the clock speed to 4.35GHz

The first update was positive. Balanced meets the 5% minimum requirement, and high performance is also achieved.
