It seems the software might not be designed for modern Windows versions. You could try using an older version of Windows or a compatibility tool, but it’s unlikely to work smoothly. Installing a different OS like Vista or XP might be necessary, though it could affect performance. The 'VM' option isn’t reliable either.

Create a virtual machine running an older operating system. This might involve a 16-bit program, which will only work with 32-bit Windows.

Oh, that was pretty typical around 1998. I've noticed videos showing significant input lag, which explains why this software struggles to function properly. Since it's a live music creation tool, even small delays cause it to lose sync.

Not supported directly. You may have a chance with Windows 7, but anything older is pointless. The most reliable option is to use a virtual machine with minimal delays.

Set up a 32-bit Windows 10 version on a dedicated storage device and turn on 16-bit compatibility. Or use an older machine running Windows XP.

It's uncertain whether this will function, but it could be the simplest option if it does. Every operating system has its own dedicated PC, which is why 'legacy support' isn't really useful anymore. -.- I’d rate it 99 out of 100. So far, only Colin McRae Dirt Rally 04 has worked, while all other CDs I tried—especially those not meant for Windows 10—just don’t work. It runs at around 400 frames per second, which would be amazing if Windows 10 had a functional compatibility mode.

The setup process for a virtual machine should be quick and efficient. Try it now.

That's definitely unusual... probably before the early 2000s or so, but after that it feels hard to accept. Many of my games seem to require this or something similar... I'm not sure if you need a list, these are thousands—hundreds or even more. It's a pain on 7/8 Windows, and the input lag is really problematic.

It’s about installing Hyper-V, setting up Windows, and running a quick test—around 30 minutes. Also useful for future planning.
