Windows adjusts how icons are displayed on your desktop.
Hi
My desktop icons are nicely organized with around 40 of them.
When a new file is downloaded or added to the desktop, it seems to prompt me to adjust the layout, saying something like "aw nice arrangement. LEMME CHANGE THAT."
Then it places the new icon in a random spot—sometimes pushing everything down, sometimes moving it up or shifting rows—but it always alters my current setup.
I’m asking if this behavior can be stopped so that files are placed without changing my arrangement.
Is this not possible?
