Hello, in Windows 10 your daughter uses Roblox with an Xbox controller. After closing the game and disconnecting it, pressing the start menu feels like a tab is pressed and the app jumps around. When you open WhatsApp and tap a contact, it instantly moves to the left. Rebooting fixes the issue, but I don’t want that option. I’ve unplugged the controller, then plugged it back in along with the keyboard and mouse. The Roblox game was killed in Task Manager, yet it keeps happening. About two months ago I reformatted and reinstalled everything thinking it was a virus, but it wasn’t—just after my daughter played on the computer. Can anyone explain what’s going on and suggest ways to stop it? Thanks.

I recommend resetting the keyboard to its original settings and/or installing the latest firmware if available. I encountered a comparable problem with my recently purchased XPG Summoner Keyboard, which would behave erratically on a daily basis. It turned out to be a faulty firmware that I resolved by updating it. After reverting back to the factory version, the issue has been resolved. The main concern was that all switches had shifted unexpectedly and the number pad ceased functioning.
