Windows 9.x to XP installation on my 2011 eMachines EL1358 isn't working. I've used ISO images but they didn't help. Downloading files also failed. Now I'm stuck with Vista and later versions. I can't run it in a VM because every time I try to boot it, the system freezes. Updated July 4, 2017 by NotLinus101

Wn9x is outdated. The XP needs to be updated for a 2011 system.

Yes, you should adjust the relevant configurations. (Legacy boot is now active.)
