The Metro tiles app menu isn't great. I'd like to see the preview peak turned off, similar to disabling Aero in Windows 7. I also want a classic control panel and some core improvements, plus a complete shift away from the Metro design.

I hope they improved it significantly—I really disliked Windows 8. It works fine on touchscreens, but using a PC is extremely difficult to navigate.

Currently it seems like a score of 8.2, only a year after 8.1. Microsoft is either going all-in or trying to clear out all the wins from Win 8.1.
