It seems Windows 9 could arrive earlier than expected, at least in a preview version.

Looking forward to the release, I haven't decided to switch yet.

I don't think so at all. Yet, if it's accurate, I'll likely experience it in January—only if the game runs smoothly.

I'll continue using Windows 7 until the full release of Windows 9 arrives.

Again late at the event. To admit, I’m probably just one of a few globally who enjoys W8.1. It needed some adjustment to get comfortable, but after tweaking it a bit, it’s much easier than 7, and it performs excellently with multiple monitors.

Some tripple monitor configurations in Windows 8.1 occasionally display odd issues. For example, the Metro interface might appear on one screen while the other only shows the background UI.

I also really enjoy version 8.1. The only problem with the triple monitor configuration is that the cursor tends to get stuck at the edges of the monitors. Occasionally I need to edit the registry to resolve it, and I'm not sure how to restore it automatically. However, overall I like it too—it's fast and responsive. It helps me avoid seeing "metro" and lets me use Start 8 for a start menu, which is great!
